검은 꽃처럼 만개한 중앙의 별 모양 형상과, 그 중심을 관통하는 계단형 선, 그리고 주변에 흩뿌려진 점들의 조합이 추상과 캐릭터성을 동시에 드러낸다. 아크릴과 잉크, 색연필이 켜켜이 쌓인 거친 질감은 흑백의 제한된 색채 속에서도 미세한 떨림과 소음을 만들어내며, ‘만개’라는 상태를 폭발이 아닌 정지된 극점으로 사유하게 한다.
