구상을 하는 과정에서 연주를 하듯, 무의식적 감각에 의존하여 평면의 2차원 선, 그 위에 의식적 감각으로 입체감을 표현하여 나의 무의식과 소통한다는 것에 의미를 두고 작업했습니다.

연주하듯 그어진 유기적 선 위에 오일 특유의 깊이 있는 명암이 더해져, 감정의 층위를 추상과 구상의 경계에서 시각화한 작업이다. 억눌린 듯한 손의 제스처와 중첩된 덩어리들은 내면과의 대화를 은유하는 시각적 악보처럼 읽힌다.
