짙은 남청과 군청의 겹겹이 쌓인 붓질 사이로, 밝은 색의 가오리들이 점묘와 곡선으로 표현되어 어둠을 가르며 전진한다. 아크릴 특유의 속도감 있는 터치가 바닷속 흐름과 압력을 동시에 전달하며, 추상적 배경과 구상적 형상이 절묘한 긴장을 이룬다.
