클레이와 금속을 결합한 소형 방패 오브제 위에 붉은색과 짙은 남색, 십자 구조의 기하학적 패턴이 배치되어 현대 사회의 불안과 방어 본능을 상징적으로 시각화한다. 2023년 대한민국에서 연쇄적으로 발생한 흉기 난동과 살인 예고 사건을 배경으로, ‘방어’라는 행위 자체가 공격성과 어떻게 맞닿아 있는지를 비판적으로 사유하게 하는 작업이다.
