아크릴, 과슈, 스프레이, 레진을 활용해 만들어진 이 공예 작품은 스카라베 곤충의 형상과 마스크의 구조를 결합해 ‘호기심’이라는 감정을 입체적으로 구현한다. 어린 시절 자연을 탐색하던 기억이 현대적인 조형 언어로 번역된, 작가의 개인사와 상상력이 밀도 있게 교차하는 작업이다.
